1. Promoter
This competition is conducted by Henkel Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 82 001 302 996) of 1133-1145 Malvern Road, Malvern VIC 3144 (Promoter).
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram. Participants understand that they are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Instagram.
2. Eligibility
The competition is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand who:
- are aged 18 years or over at the time of entry; and
- are currently practising as professional hairdressers or colourists.
Employees, contractors and agents of the Promoter, its related bodies corporate, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, immediate family member means a spouse, de facto partner, parent, child, sibling, grandparent or grandchild.
3. Competition period
The competition commences at 12:00am AEST on 11 August 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 18 September 2026 (Competition Period).
Entries must be received during the Competition Period. Entries received after the closing date and time will not be accepted.
4. Prize
The winner will receive a trip to attend #COLORCRAFTERS 2026 in Istanbul, Türkiye, on 13 and 14 October 2026 as assistant to Kawada, valued at approximately AUD $9,696 (Prize).
The Prize includes:
- return economy airfares from the winner's nearest capital city airport in Australia or New Zealand to Istanbul;
- accommodation as determined by the Promoter for the nights of the 12th, 13th, 14th of October 2026;
- transfers (if arranged by the Promoter); and
- attendance at the #COLORCRAFTERS 2026 event.
The Prize must be taken on the dates specified by the Promoter and is subject to booking and availability. The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
The winner is responsible for ensuring they hold a valid passport with the required period of validity, obtaining any necessary visas or travel authorisations, and complying with any applicable entry, health or travel requirements.
The winner is responsible for all costs and expenses not expressly stated as forming part of the Prize, including but not limited to travel insurance, meals, spending money, vaccinations, passport and visa costs, excess baggage charges, taxes (where applicable), room service and other incidental expenses.
If the winner is unable to travel on the dates specified, does not meet travel requirements, or is otherwise unable to redeem the Prize, the Prize will be forfeited and the entry judged to be the next highest scoring eligible entry will be awarded the Prize.
If any element of the Prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute that element with one of equal or greater value, subject to applicable law.
5. How to enter
To enter the competition, participants must:
- Create an original colour look using IGORA Royal.
- Post it publicly on Instagram as a post or reel during the Competition Period.
- Include the hashtags #COLORCRAFTERSANZ and either #IGORAIGORAROYAL or #POLYCHROME in the caption.
- Tag @schwarzkopfproanz in the post.
- Follow @schwarzkopfproanz at the time of judging.
Entrants must maintain a public Instagram account from the time of entry until the winner is announced so that the Promoter can view and assess their entry.
Multiple entries are permitted. Each entry must be unique and comply with these Terms and Conditions.
Entries that are incomplete, illegible, inappropriate, unlawful, or that otherwise do not comply with these Terms and Conditions may be deemed invalid at the Promoter's sole discretion.
All entries must be the entrant's original work and must not infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any person.
6. Winner selection
This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.
All valid entries will be judged at the Promoter's offices on 22 September 2026 by a panel appointed by the Promoter.
Entries will be judged against the following criteria:
- Creativity and originality of the colour look (25%)
- Technical execution and colouring skill (35%)
- Effective use of IGORA Royal (20%)
- Overall visual impact and presentation (20%)
The entrant whose submission achieves the highest overall score, as determined by the judging panel, will be deemed the winner.
The winner will be announced on 23 September 2026 via the Promoter's Instagram account (@schwarzkopfproanz).
The judges' decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the competition.
7. Winner notification
The winner will be notified by direct message via Instagram within 48 hours of the judging date and announced on the Promoter's Instagram account (@schwarzkopfproanz) on 23 September 2026.
To claim the Prize, the winner must respond to the Promoter's notification and provide all information reasonably required by the Promoter to arrange travel and Prize fulfilment within 7 days of being notified.
If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within 7 days, fails to provide the required information, is found to be ineligible, or is unable to accept the Prize in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, the Prize will be forfeited and awarded to the entry judged to be the next highest-scoring eligible entry.
The replacement winner, if required, will be notified by direct message via Instagram within 48 hours of selection.
8. Privacy
By entering the competition, entrants consent to the Promoter collecting, using and disclosing their personal information for the purposes of administering the competition, contacting entrants, determining and notifying the winner, arranging and fulfilling the Prize, and related promotional activities.
The winner and shortlisted entrants may have their name, Instagram handle, salon name (if applicable) and entry content published on the Promoter's websites, social media channels and other marketing materials without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
By entering, entrants grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, publish, communicate and display their entry for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media.
Personal information may be disclosed to the Promoter's related entities, service providers, travel providers, event organisers and other third parties involved in administering the competition or fulfilling the Prize.
The Promoter will handle personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at: https://www.schwarzkopf-professional.com/au/en/data-protection-statement.html.
Entrants may request access to, or correction of, their personal information by contacting the Promoter in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
9. General conditions
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and the eligibility of entrants and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is misleading, deceptive, incomplete, indecipherable, unlawful, offensive, fraudulent, or otherwise not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Entrants warrant that:
- their entry is their original work;
- they own or have obtained all necessary rights and permissions to submit the entry;
- their entry does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of any person; and
- they have obtained the consent of any person appearing in, or otherwise featured in, the entry.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry that it reasonably considers to be inappropriate, defamatory, discriminatory, offensive, unlawful or otherwise unsuitable for publication.
The Promoter is not responsible for any technical malfunction, network failure, delayed or lost entries, or any other issue beyond its reasonable control that may affect participation in the competition.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies any consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Subject to the previous paragraph, the Promoter and its related bodies corporate, officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or claim arising out of or in connection with the competition or the acceptance or use of the Prize.
If this competition cannot be conducted as anticipated due to any reason beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, including but not limited to technical failures, pandemic-related restrictions, government directions, acts of terrorism, civil unrest, natural disasters, or cancellation of the event associated with the Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the competition, or substitute the Prize with one of equal or greater value, subject to applicable law.
