One of the industry’s most sought-after stylists, Nick is recognised for his ability to perfectly capture editorial and high-fashion hair.
Nick Irwin started his hairdressing career in the north of England before joining the TONI & GUY Artistic Team in the 90s. His journey took him from Global Creative Director at TIGI International to the board of directors at Unilever, where he mastered the balance of art and commerce.
In 2014, Nick returned full-time to the session world, creating work for global fashion magazines and high-profile advertising campaigns. Recognised for his ability to perfectly capture editorial and high-fashion hair, he’s become one of the industry’s most sought-after stylists.
For the past few years, he’s been Schwarzkopf’s Global Ambassador, bringing his vast creative expertise to the wider hair community, and most recently has been mentoring upcoming stylist, Alex Sarghe. Alex is a session hairstylist and creative collaborator working internationally across fashion and editorial. He’s drawn to turning ideas into something real, finding that point where concept meets craft. Together, the two are proving the power of education and creativity through collaboration.
“It was all about breaking the rules, and that really stayed with me.”
