For moisture, definition and gentle detangling:
- Detangle hair with finger/wide tooth comb, apply conditioner
- Apply shampoo, gently massage scalp and rinse thoroughly
- Re-apply conditioner and detangle. Let it sit for 2 minutes before rinsing with cool water
Salon Tip: For very curly hair, apply a deep hydrating mask once a week on wet hair and use indirect heat or wear shower cap for 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with cool water.
For deep moisture, gentle handling, and protective techniques:
- Apply a deep conditioner and finger-detangle gently. Let it sit for 10mins.
Tip: Let it soak in longer over night with a shower cap before washday. - Apply shampoo on the scalp and let the shampoo rinse through ends for gentle cleansing.
- Work in sections and apply a deep conditioning mask generously. Use a brush suitable for your hair type to detangle from ends to roots. Let it sit for 10 mins and rinse with cool water.
Salon Tip: For very coily hair, add a few pumps of the rich oil to the mask for extra nourishment and leave in for 10 mins.
