Five talented stylists from around the world share their unique take on our Polychrome hair colour service.
Earlier this year, we introduced our new hero colour service: Polychrome. Since then, we’ve seen our global hairdressing community inspired to elevate their client’s regular colour routine by adding strategically placed highlights to create a premium, personalised and multi-dimensional finish.
In this article, we shine the spotlight on five talented hair stylists, each sharing their own interpretation of Polychrome and how they’ve used the technique to create a bespoke colour experience for their clients.
Located in Greece, Digital Colour Expert, Faye Desikou, crafted a three-dimensional colour experience with the perfect balance of brightness and shadow. Working freely in triangular panels, Faye strategically placed different shades to create movement, finishing with face-framing pieces.

For a natural look on virgin hair, stylist Paula Rostom used a diagonal vertical foiling technique, applying three foil sections on each side to create soft, subtle dimension.

Located in Saudi Arabia, Schwarzkopf Professional Educator, Ghufran Ahmad, created a halo effect through strategically placed foils in the top section of her client’s brunette hair, blending seamlessly with the existing colour to achieve soft, balanced tones and low maintenance dimension.

Hair stylist, Gaby Al Ahmar, used a Halo Peek-a-Boo technique on a medium base to create a subtle, natural enhancement, with hidden dimension and soft multi-tonal movement which catches the light without compromising the client’s natural look. Gaby created two balanced sections on the right and left sides to ensure precision and symmetry throughout the placement.
