THREE DISTINCT HAIR STORIES

At Paris Fashion Week AW26, we partnered with leading session stylists, Anthony Turner and Ramona Eschbach, to create three distinct hair narratives across the runways of Victoria Beckham, Ann Demeulemeester and Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood.

Each look demonstrated how hair can shape the identity of a collection – from Turner’s soft texture and effortless elegance at Victoria Beckham and the dishevelled, character-driven hair at Ann Demeulemeester to Eschbach’s voluminous, sixties-inspired styles at Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood.

VICTORIA BECKHAM AW26

SOFT TEXTURE & EFFORTLESS ELEGANCE

For the Victoria Beckham Autumn/Winter 2026 show in Paris, internationally acclaimed session stylist, Anthony Turner, brought the designer’s hair vision to life. The hair reflected refined elegance with an effortless, feminine and slightly undone finish. This season introduced a subtly more eccentric edge while remaining relaxed – almost as if the girls had already been to the after-show party.

Under the direction of Anthony Turner, the look centred on smooth, natural hair with a strong side parting and a loose, low ponytail. The result was simple yet elevated, balancing polish with an undone softness that complemented the collection’s balance of strength and fluidity.

“For the Autumn/Winter 2026 show, we wanted the hair to feel effortless, feminine and slightly undone - reflecting the collection’s balance of strength and softness. Working with Anthony Turner, we created a side parting and a low ponytail with smooth, natural texture using Schwarzkopf Professional products. Simple, yet elegant.”

ACHIEVE THE LOOK

  • Dry the hair using hands to maintain the natural texture, directing the hair back while leaving softness around the hairline and ears.
  • Once dry, comb the hair into a strong side parting and gather it into a simple, slightly undone low ponytail.
  • Lightly sprinkle OSiS Dust It through the top of the hair to enhance texture.

  • Complete the look by applying OSiS Freeze around the hairline for an incredible hold.
“FIBRE CLINIX Fibre Sealer was the hero product backstage, helping to nourish and restore the hair while delivering a smooth, healthy finish.”

ANDREAS KRONTHALER FOR VIVIENNE WESTWOOD AW26

SIXTIES VOLUME & UNDONE TEXTURE

For the Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood AW26 show in Paris, this season’s hair, styled by session stylist Ramona Eschbach, was inspired by iconic screen actor, Romy Schneider, and the many hairstyles she wore throughout her career. Referencing the glamour of the 1960s, the look featured strong dry texture, volume at the roots and softly structured shapes.

A very low side parting was introduced across many of the models, paired with backcombed roots and brushed-out curls to create movement and lift while maintaining a sense of effortlessness. The result was a look that felt both nostalgic and modern - combining the attitude and drama associated with Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood with soft, feminine texture and a slightly undone finish.

ACHIEVE THE LOOK

  • Once dry, set the hair with a curling iron before brushing through to soften the shape and create natural movement.
  • Backcomb the roots using SESSION LABEL The Powder to build volume and texture, keeping the roots slightly textured to hold the style in place.
  • Spray SESSION LABEL The Flexible hairspray through the ends to maintain movement while supporting the shape.
  • Create a very low French twist using the grip from SESSION LABEL The Powder to keep the structure secure while maintaining natural movement and softness around the hairline.

  • Refine the look, keeping the hairline soft and allowing the texture and volume through the lengths to remain visible, creating a glamorous yet slightly undone finish.
“The hero product backstage was SESSION LABEL The  Powder. It gave the roots the perfect grip and texture to build volume and hold the structure of the style, which meant we could create the low French twist without it slipping, while still keeping the hair feeling light and full of movement.”

ANN DEMEULEMEESTER AW26

DISHEVELLED TEXTURE

Internationally acclaimed session stylist, Anthony Turner, crafted hair inspired by a university classroom filled with electric, alternative characters. A natural extension of the Ann Demeulemeester aesthetic, the hair celebrated individuality and self-expression. Each model embodied a distinct persona, from rockers and goths to preppy archetypes, creating a cast of characters that felt authentic, raw and expressive.

Hair reflected this diversity, with looks tailored to each model’s natural texture and personality. While every finish was unique, a common thread ran through the collection: a subtly dishevelled texture that felt lived-in, effortless and characterful.

ACHIEVE THE LOOK

  • Work SESSION LABEL The Salt through damp hair to create natural movement and a slightly gritty texture.
  • Rough dry to encourage the hair’s natural character and direction.

  • Apply SESSION LABEL The Thickener through the mid-lengths and ends to build body and density while maintaining a soft, natural feel.
  • Shape the hair loosely using fingers or a diffuser to enhance texture and individuality.

  • Mist SESSION LABEL The Strong hairspray throughout the hair to lock in the look while maintaining movement. The result should feel slightly undone, effortless and full of personality.
“SESSION LABEL The Salt was really the hero product for this look - it gives the hair that slightly gritty, undone texture that feels authentic rather than overly styled.”
