IGORA ZERO AMM, our new hair colour, is formulated with Monoethanolamine (MEA), an organic compound used to substitute ammonia. This colourless liquid acts as an alkalising agent that plays the same role as ammonia, only gentler with little to no odour. It is responsible for raising the pH level of the hair that lifts the hair cuticles, allowing the colour pigments to enter the hair cortex.
