Step 1
Start by sectioning out the hair that you want to work with. Visualise where you want the lightened area using cut paper pieces.
Step 2
Start on one side: Taking fine slice sections, use Lightener 2 on the ends.
Step 3
When you reach the scalp area, apply Lightener 1 continuing to the ends with Lightener 2.
Step 4
Continue the same process on the opposite side. Develop for up to 20-45 minutes. Rinse and finish with Fibre Clinix Vibrancy Post Lightening service.
Step 5
Apply the Toner with a bottle applicator. Develop for 20 minutes, rinse with tepid water until the water runs clear.

The main difference is the results you'd like to achieve. The IGORA ROYAL Highlifts, for instance, lifts the natural hair color up to 5 levels, enhancing natural blondes by working with the natural pigment. The IGORA VARIO BLOND Lightener, on the other hand, can achieve optimal lift and it's suitable for various bases, removing both artificial and natural pigment.
IGORA ROYAL Highlifts is formulated as a lifting colorcream, meaning it can only lift the natural pigments and it will tone at the same time. The TrueLift Complex helps deliver even and brilliant color results. The IGORA VARIO BLOND Lightener is a bleach powder. Bleach powders are much stronger oxidizers and have a stronger lightening performance.
Schwarzkopf Bonding Technology helps to protect the bonds within the hair structure during the lifting process while maintaining the integrity of the hair. Improved Anti-Metal Technology captures metal ions to support a more controlled lifting process*
