- We joined forces with the PANTONE Color Institute – the global colour expert – in a unique collaboration that celebrates our colour expertise and reinforces our commitment to colour perfection
- The PANTONE Color Institute consulted us on the next big trending colour worlds for the upcoming year
- Our global colour ambassadors Lesley Jennison and Arjan Bevers, as well as the creative collective X-presion and the colour educator Josie Vilay then used this colour world inspiration from PANTONE to create a total of 18 IGORA ROYAL Mixes matching perfectly to the forecasted trends

Colour mixing allows you to create an infinite number of colours, so your colour services can be personalised to each and every individual client! We understand how important it is to create a mix that makes the client feel special, with a colour that perfectly matches their skin tone and hair base.
Mixing can be really easy! All mixes from our new IGORA ROYAL Mixes Collection are achieved by only mixing 2 to 3 colours together, to create amazing powerful colour results.

We partnered up with the Pantone Color Institute who provided consultation on trending colour worlds for the next year. Based on the inspiration provided, our colourists each created a new set of colour mixes dedicated to one of the trending colour worlds. Each mix was created by using core shades from our existing IGORA ROYAL portfolio.
No. The pH value of our IGORA ROYAL shades is within a range between 9.7-11.5. Within this range we can ensure 100% coverage, vibrant fashion tones and up to 5 levels of lift and a permanent longevity.
The IGORA ROYAL Pastelfier dilutes the pigment concentration and tone intensity, whilst enhancing the powdery character of the shade by adding a soft cool tone direction. It provides up to 1 level of extra lift on virgin hair.
The recommended mixing ratios are:
- Usage on bases 8-9: 1 part IGORA ROYAL Color Crème + up to 2 parts IGORA ROYAL Pastelfier
- Usage on bases 5-7: 1 part IGORA ROYAL Color Crème + up to 4 parts IGORA ROYAL Pastelfier
- Usage on bases 3-4: 1 part IGORA ROYAL Color Crème + up to 6 parts IGORA ROYAL Pastelfier
The IGORA ROYAL Booster intensifies every IGORA ROYAL core shade by boosting the vibrancy or intensity with a higher percentage of white.
Mixing recommendations:
- Your IGORA ROYAL Booster will make up to 50% of the IGORA ROYAL Color Crème in your formula
- Adding too much Booster will reduce coverage, so make sure you adjust the amount of colour and the application method accordingly
Mix recommendations:
- On bases 8 and 9 – add up to 5% of the IGORA ROYAL Color Crème
- On bases 6 and 7 – add up to 15% of the IGORA ROYAL Color Crème
- On bases 1 to 5 – add up to 25% of the IGORA ROYAL Color Crème
