Mad about Curls Superfood has everything needed to enhance the natural texture and beauty of type 4 curls.
Hair types 4A - 4C, also widely known as coily hair, might look very dense and robust, but they are actually the most fragile and have a dry texture with the fewest cuticle layers. Coily hair tends to be very dry, and it breaks more easily and can appear less defined due to its very tight S to Z pattern. Type 4 hair textures have a flat diameter and do not grow as quickly compared to an oval Caucasian hair texture. The main concerns about these textures are dryness, breakage and shrinkage.
